Group Counseling for LGBTQ+ Teens
Group Counseling for LGBTQ+ teens provides a structured, supportive and affirming environment for LGBTQ+ teens to explore issues related to identity, peer and family relationships with other LGBTQ+ teens who share similar experiences. Participants will learn and practice communication skills such as active listening and make connections with other teens in the LGBTQ+ community. The group is co-facilitated by Ariella Laskin, MSW, LCSW and Rebecca Degnan, LPC. Ariella and Rebecca are skilled at helping teens navigate their personal and social struggles and explore and celebrate their unique identities, while creating a safe and affirming environment in which to do so.
Advanced registration is required and you must register for the full 6-week session. Once you register, you will receive an email giving you access to a Client Portal to complete intake paperwork. This paperwork must be completed prior to the first group meeting. There is no reimbursement for missed meetings.
Parents are asked to drop off and pick up in the parking lot to maintain confidentiality of participants.
There is a maximum of ten participants for this session. Register today to reserve your spot!
